RWUL’s ILAFF 2015 in Ghana will be on October 21-24, 2015 once again held at the Goethe-Institut of Accra. The film festival this year will commence with a special Video Art Exhibit and Networking event featuring the work of Sheena Rose, Dexter Jones, and Erick Msumanje. ILAFF 2015 will be premiering the screening of Shake the Dust by executive producer NAS and premiere screening Afronaunts by acclaimed filmmaker Frances Bodomo. There will be a short film program, additional screenings, and panel discussions as well during ILAFF 2015 in Ghana.
Ghana provides the perfect back drop for ILAFF because the film and cinema culture is still young and growing in Ghana. RWUL’s main role is to make ILAFF an annual platform for local filmmakers in Ghana to present their work and to grow within the industry. ILAFF is expanding and this year’s festival to include special guest celebrity hosts to help usher in the festivities and providing new film awards and recognition. More details and listing of all the films screening will be announced as the event gets near on the RWUL's website at www.rwul.com .
